The Cash Allowance Trial Scheme
will terminate on 30 June 2025.
Eligible persons may consider applying for
Light Public Housing or Transitional Housing.
The Government launched the Cash Allowance Trial Scheme in end-June 2021. For Public Rental Housing General Applicant households who have received the Application Form, they should complete and submit it as early as possible if they are eligible and wish to apply for the cash allowance. Attention: The start month of cash allowance disbursement is determined by the month that the applicant household has met all eligibility criteria, or the submission month of the completed Application Form (whichever is later).
